- HEALING PROCESS

LIP BLUSH
The Lip Blush Tattoo procedure involves depositing pigment into the top layers of the skin using a fine needle, enhancing your lips’ shape and colour. Immediately after the procedure, your lips will appear darker and more vibrant than the final result. This is a normal part of the healing process, as the coloUr will soften by 30-50% within the first week. Swelling is also common but typically goes down within the first 48 hours.
HEALING PROCESS
Your lips will heal quickly, usually within 5-7 days. During this time, it’s important to follow the aftercare instructions provided to ensure the best possible results. You may notice some dryness or light peeling, which is perfectly normal as the colour settles in. By the end of the healing period, your lips will reveal a soft, natural tint that enhances your features effortlessly.
The following should be avoided 2 DAYS prior to your appointment:
- ALL Caffeine and Alcohol drinks, including energy drinks, coffee, tea, pre work outs.
- Blood thinners (Aspirin, Ibuprofen etc.)
The following should be avoided 2 WEEKS prior to your appointment:
- Heavy Sun exposure – the sun can increases blood flow to the lips which can result in excessive bleeding throughout your procedure. If sunburn occurs, please re-schedule your appointment as your cosmetic tattoo will not retain well.
- Please avoid Facials Treatments and Peels.
To ensure optimal results and minimize bleeding during the procedure, it is essential to follow the preparation instructions provided before your appointment. Failure to do so may require additional touch-up sessions as bleeding can push out the color we’re applying to your skin. We will email you all the necessary instructions when you book your appointment with us. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions regarding proper preparation, as it is crucial for good retention and achieving the desired outcome of your Lip Tattoo procedure, thank you.
